SUMMARY
The Construction Project Manager supports activities associated with PGEs Facility Inspection and Treatment to the National Electrical Safety Code (FITNES) program which encompasses 280000 utility structures and overhead facilities and 100000 underground vaults and pad-mounted electrical equipment as required by the Oregon Public Utility Commission (OPUC) and the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC). This position manages utility infrastructure inspection repair and replacement programs and oversees associated projects to increase reliability and resiliency coming off this storm season and in preparation for wildfire season.
Were hiring for a position open to both Senior Construction Project Manager and Staff Construction Project Manager level candidates. The level will be determined based on the successful applicants qualifications experience and demonstrated skills during the interview process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops program processes activities and priorities that support long-term strategic asset management distribution engineering utility asset management and other engineering goals for medium- to large-scale programs.
Serves as program project manager with responsibility for meeting project goals for safety budget schedule scope resources compliance and quality and ensuring projects deliver quality and value to the customer while meeting environmental cultural and community requirements.
Prepares project proposals for RFPs and develops technical specifications prepares requests for proposals (RFPs) and evaluates bids.
Ensures effective coordination and collaboration among team members and between PGE stakeholder organizations outside consultants and vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS
Senior Construction Project Manager
Education: Bachelors degree in engineering business or a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience: Typically 8 or more years of experience in project management construction management or engineering or a related field; utility transmission distribution or generation experience highly preferred.
Certifications Licenses and Training: PMP certification preferred.
This position requires a valid drivers license and a history of safe driving practices. It requires frequent driving within the PGE service territory and occasional driving outside the service territory.
Staff Construction Project Manager
Education: Bachelors degree in engineering business or a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience: Typically 5 or more years of experience in project management construction management or engineering or a related field; utility experience highly preferred.
Certifications Licenses and Training: PMP certification preferred
This position requires a valid drivers license and a history of safe driving practices. It requires frequent driving within the PGE service territory and occasional driving outside the service territory.

Compensation Range:
$99975.00 - $197375.00Actual total compensation including a performance based incentive bonus is commensurate with experience skills qualifications education training and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
