Job Summary
The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Sundaes Attendant to join the Food & Beverage team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion the resort is more stunning than ever.
Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms (to include cottages and villas) 65000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants 2 bars food truck marketplace ice cream shop and in-room dining.

Classification:Seasonal- Starting on November 24 2025 and ending no later than January 4 2026
Shift: Various must be available to weekdays weekends and holidays.
Pay Rate:$21.16 per hour
What will I be doing
As a Sundaes Attendant you would be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner promotes and documents orders.
- Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest maintaining accountability for all beverages served.
- Receives cash from guests makes any change needed verifies validity of charges records charges and insures vouchers are properly executed in order to balance all transactions.
- Respond to guest complains in a positive and tactful manner negotiate a compromise and implement solution.
- Locks up and stores all beverages food and other equipment items deposits cash drops secures and balance bank and sign out/in keys.
