Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hospitalist (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join its inpatient team in Shelton CT.
This is a full-time permanent position offering a collegial work culture flexible scheduling and minimal call responsibilities. You will work alongside an experienced team of physicians and advanced practice providers committed to high-quality evidence-based inpatient care.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient care including admissions evaluations and management of hospitalized patients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests prescribe appropriate treatments and monitor progress.
Participate in patient and family education regarding conditions treatments and discharge planning.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based care processes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications
Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
Experience: Prior hospitalist experience preferred but new graduates and residents are welcome to apply.
