Job Summary
PPS is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our new aluminum extrusion facility in Arizona. The main responsibilities are troubleshooting and repairing machinery safely quickly and effectively to maximize production time.
This is a full-time permanent direct hire role with a highly competitive starting pay rate excellent benefits and room for advancement!
Responsibilities:
- Work on various projects involving fabrication rebuilding parts and inspecting machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Help other maintenance and operational personnel as needed.
- Operate a forklift and man lift.
- Plumb air oil grease and water lines.
- Troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Work independently and as a team.
- Strictly follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Fabrication and welding experience.
- Ability to safely work in confined spaces at elevated heights and around chemicals.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to read write and understand English.
- Preferred Millwright Certification Electrical experience.
- Preferred CMMS familiarity.
- Knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic valves pumps cylinders and schematics.
- Knowledge of general industrial equipment such as chains bushings bearings gearboxes and drive belts.
- Ability to work safely at elevated heights and in confined spaces.
