Job Summary

The Vice President of Finance and Treasurer is a critical and high-level role within our organization. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Responsibilities include financial strategy and planning treasury management external reporting and analysis compliance and risk management investment and cash flow management along with technology and process improvement for the finance team.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies with the CFO to align with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
  • Collaborate with departmental leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Oversee the organizations treasury function including cash management liquidity and risk management.
  • Develop and execute strategies for optimizing the organizations capital structure.
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Provide financial analysis insights and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Work with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.
  • Bank Covenant Reporting
  • Identify and assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the organizations assets.
  • Manage cash flow to ensure operational needs are met and investment opportunities are maximized.
  • Implement cash flow forecasting and optimization techniques.
  • Oversee the organizations investment portfolio and strategies.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in due diligence for mergers acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
  • Provide financial expertise in financial modeling and structuring of transactions.
  • Implement and leverage financial systems and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and workflows.
  • ERP Stand Up

Requirements:

A bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related field; a masters degree or CPA is often preferred. Extensive experience in finance treasury and financial management roles. Strong leadership and managerial skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and problem-solving -depth knowledge of financial regulations accounting principles and treasury best practices.

  • Small-to-large office environment.
  • Fast paced work environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments.
  • Regularly exposed to dust odors oil fumes cleaning products and noise.

The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds of office and facilities equipment (cleaning products tools and ladders) and trash and the ability to safely use equipment provided. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
