Job Summary
A Senior Chemical Technician supports oil and gas production operations by overseeing the safe and effective use of chemical treatment programs. This role is responsible for monitoring sampling and analyzing chemical applications to optimize production maintain equipment integrity and ensure regulatory compliance. The Senior Chemical Technician provides technical expertise troubleshooting and recommendations to field and operations teams. The position plays a key role in improving efficiency reducing operational risks and supporting overall production goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
Track program KPIs for both economics and performance.
Review and optimize H2S treatment efficiency.
Participate in root cause failure analysis and route review meetings.
Review lab analyses chemical usage and tank inventory.
Evaluate chemical service and HSE metrics.
Work with chemical vendors to craft technical recommendations for chemical program implementation.
Manage chemical vendor reviews including scheduling and task management.
Identify training needs of organizational counterparts; work with each team to identify necessary content and schedule accordingly.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the industry within a similar role.
High School Diploma (or GED)
An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
Physical Requirements
Requires prolonged sitting some bending and stooping.
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
