Job Summary

Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Café Repair Technician to support daily operations within our onsite café located inside an automotive manufacturing facility. The technician will be responsible for inspecting maintaining and repairing café and kitchen equipment to ensure a safe efficient and fully operational environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair café and kitchen equipment including ovens refrigerators beverage dispensers ice makers dishwashers and grills.
Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on food service machinery to prevent downtime.
Work with café staff and facilities management to prioritize repair requests and ensure minimal disruption to food service.
Conduct safety and functionality inspections of all food preparation and service equipment.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair logs; order parts and supplies as needed.
Collaborate with outside vendors for specialized repairs or warranty service when required.
Adhere to plant safety cleanliness and quality standards at all times.
Support general facility maintenance as assigned.

Schedule: 40 hours/week - flexible schedule

Pay: $24-28/hour

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational certification in mechanical electrical or appliance repair preferred.
2 years of experience in commercial kitchen or café equipment maintenance and repair.
Knowledge of electrical plumbing and refrigeration systems.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals wiring diagrams and technical schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
Comfortable working in hot or cold environments and around industrial equipment.
