This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Bridge Engineer to join our clients team. As a Senior Traffic Engineer you willwork with multi-disciplinary teams on State Local Government and private projects primarily in the transportation Bridge Engineers play an essential role in the design and construction of successful high quality bridge projects across Minnesota. Sr Bridge Engineers mentor other Bridge Engineers oversee the design and construction of new structures and the safety inspections and rehabilitation of in-place bridges.

Key Responsibilities:

Bridge and hydraulic design
Preparation of plans drawings and specifications for bridge construction or repair
Conducting feasibility studies
Performing load ratings and other calculations
Construction and safety inspections
Conducting site evaluations
Communication and collaboration

Preferred Skills Experience and Qualifications:

A desire to grow within the company
Willingness to collaborate in a team environment in the office and field
Proficiency in structural analysis and bridge design software
Experience designing highway bridges utilizing AASHTO LRFD specifications and MnDOT standards
Certification as an Inspection Team Leader
5 years of progressive bridge related experience
B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field) with Professional Engineer licensure (PE) in Minnesota (or ability to obtain)
