Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (RVT Certified)
Location: Gastonia NC
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights Monday through Thursday 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM
Pay Rate: $55 - $60/hr
Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Ultrasound Technologistfor an exciting job in Gastonia NC.
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound exams including general abdominal R/O DVT and R/O ectopic cases.
Assist with specialized procedures such as thyroid/liver biopsies and drainages.
Conduct limited vascular OB/GYN neonatal head breast and prostate studies as needed.
Operate and maintain Siemens Philips and other ultrasound equipment.
Collaborate with radiologists and imaging staff to ensure accurate and timely results.
Maintain patient safety comfort and confidentiality in accordance with facility policies and professional standards.
Accurately document and record patient information in the EMR system.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
Proficiency in general abdominal vascular OB/GYN and small parts imaging.
Experience with Siemens and Philips ultrasound units preferred.
Certifications: ARDMS certification with AB OB/GYN and RVT credentials required.
Education: Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent accredited program.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
