What youll do:
As a Credit Portfolio Risk Analyst II youll be responsible for enhancing portfolio credit risk management objectives through delivery of data reporting analytic projects that increase visibility into the Banks portfolio of loans leases deposits and other services. Working in the role youll also have production responsibilities as well as ad hoc or project based work. Youll be responsible for reducing risk in the Banks portfolio by identifying monitoring and assessing KRIs/KPIs producing standard or ad hoc analysis portfolio segment reporting or similar activities. You will become a SME for one or more of these activities. One of your key responsibilities is to monitor one or more segments of the portfolio for performance accuracy of consolidated data and implement process improvements. As the Credit Portfolio Analyst II youll perform all duties in compliance with SOX controls the Banks RCSA framework and internal or external audit requirements.
- Responsible for supporting the Credit Portfolio leadership in creating or using various database objects reporting tools or other Bank approved technology in the execution of regular duties and proposing improvements to processes gains approval documents and implements upgrades. Partner with IT and Business Data Governance as required.
- Complete assigned projects which may be individual or team projects and include acquiring new data sources defining and documenting transformations required to load writing load scripts and testing. Independently frame requirements for moderately complex data and business processes. Develop reporting dashboards monitoring concentration limits KRIs RCSA or other projects.
- Apply technical expertise and software knowledge to address complex projects and manage a pipeline of data reporting and process related projects identifying and elevating road blocks and executing within designated time frames.
- Participate in the development of relevant policies procedures methodologies and training and collaborate with Credit Administration group. Collaborate cross functionally on projects.
What youll need:
- 3 years of related experience in Accounting Finance Economics or similar field.
- Bachelors degree in related field required.
- Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations including deposit operations loan administration treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and regulations industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate knowledge of commercial credit-related discipline with experience with a variety of lending products and segments.
- Intermediate ability to independently problem solve adapt to changing priorities act with a sense of urgency on-time delivery and support diverse projects.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
- Data Science / Data Analytics Certificate CFA CPA CAIA or CRM Certification preferred.
- Occasional travel required.
