Were expanding our Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Community Access services and looking for a down-to-earth proactive Team Leader with hands-on leadership experience to join our crew.
Our SIL houses are located in Thornton Salamander Bay Black Hill and soon Mayfield so flexibility to travel between sites will be valued.
About the Role
Reporting to the Service Manager youll be the link between frontline staff and the management team leading Disability Support Workers ensuring quality and compliance in daily supports and keeping participant outcomes at the heart of everything you do.
Youll lead by example balancing empathy with accountability and empowering your team to deliver person-centred high-quality support every day.
Youll:
Oversee day-to-day operations of one or more SIL houses across Thornton Salamander Bay Black Hill and Mayfield
Lead mentor and support DSWs to deliver consistent person-centred care
Communicate effectively with families health professionals and key stakeholders
Monitor documentation shift notes and incident reports for accuracy and compliance
Promote a positive safe and inclusive workplace culture
Collaborate closely with the Service Manager and Operations Team to continuously improve our services
Champion digital tools (Employment Hero and ShiftCare) to help staff work smarter and stay connected
This role suits a confident and compassionate leader who loves both people and process someone whos hands-on organised and motivated to make a difference.
About You
Youll bring:
Minimum 12 years experience in a leadership or supervisory role (Team Leader House Manager Senior Support Worker or similar)
Strong understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards and person-centred support
Excellent communication time-management and documentation skills
Certificate IV (or higher) in Disability Community Services or a related field
Standard Probidy: Current drivers licence NDIS Worker Check and First Aid/CPR
