Coach and mentor location drivers to achieve an accident-free work environment while maintaining full compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies.

Major Responsibilities:
Monitor Site Safety Metric compliance
- Ensure compliance with Federal State and Local Laws
- Ensure compliance with company designated Safety goals
- Ensure compliance with customer specific Safety goals
- Ensure Data Accuracy across all Safety Systems
- Actively engage with all associates to reinforce Penskes Safety culture
- Support Incident and Injury investigations and create prevention plans
Engage with Site Leaders and associates
- Support associate onboarding / training
- Review Observations for compliance with the Observation Program
- Conduct associate observations and audit processes
- Support associate coaching activities
- Lead the local Safety Team
Monitor Equipment and Facility Safety Compliance
- Review Monthly Facility Inspection findings
- Review completed Equipment Inspection findings
- Conduct facility yard and equipment inspections
- Monitor and support compliance with Onboard Camera System Collision Mitigation System Logging System
Site Health Reporting
- Support meetings with Site Leadership and AHSM
- Provide data analysis reporting
- Provide Action Plans as needed
- Provide reporting as needed
Support Seasonal Activities
- Mock DOT Audits
- Prepare for weather changes (i.e. Winter Hurricanes etc.)
Complete Ad Hoc Assignments
QualificationsQualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of Health & Safety or Operations Management experience with proven leadership ability required
- Demonstrated Self-motivation
- Working knowledge of basic DOT regulations
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook Word Excel Access and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Presentation Skills
- Regular predictable full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Willingness to travel as necessary work the required or modified (as needed) schedule work at the specific location required complete a Penske employment application submit to a reference verification (to include past employment and education) are required
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree
- Safety Professional Certifications by an accredited Safety Organization
- Knowledge of the following:
- Effective Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Control Techniques
- DOT Regulations
- OSHA Regulations
- Incident Investigation Techniques
- Data Analytics
- Presentation Skills
- Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft tools
