This role focuses on the development and maintenance of comprehensive Verification & Validation (V&V) Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards. These dashboards are designed to be intuitive providing critical insights into V&V readiness and quality trends for both the internal V&V team and CVS executive management. The position involves close collaboration with the CVS data management team to establish and maintain robust data connections ensuring seamless integration with other relevant organizational dashboards. All dashboard creation and deployment must adhere to Fords compliant toolchain.
- Tailored to V&V GoalsDashboards are customized to align with the specific strategic objectives and informational needs of executive management. This ensures that the data presented is directly relevant to their decision-making processes.
- Simplicity and High-Level OverviewRecognizing that executives have limited time the dashboards prioritize simplicity by presenting only essential information and avoiding an overcrowded display. They provide a quick temperature check of V&V performance rather than overwhelming detail.
- Organized for InsightInformation is structured to naturally draw the executives attention to the most important and actionable insights. This often means placing the most critical metrics and KPIs at the top following natural reading patterns.
- Clear Visual DesignIntuitive dashboards utilize clear and easy-to-understand charts graphs and other visualizations. Consistent color schemes enhance readability and highlight critical insights without distraction. Accessibility is also considered in color choices.

ResponsibilitiesWhat youll do
- Data Collection and Integration: Gather data from various sources ensuring its accuracy and completeness. Integrate data from disparate systems to create a unified data source for analysis.
- Data Cleaning and Preparation: Clean and preprocess data to ensure its suitable for analysis. This involves handling missing values removing duplicates and transforming data into a usable format.
- Data Analysis: Use statistical methods and data analysis tools to interpret data and extract actionable insights. This involves identifying trends patterns and correlations that can inform business decisions. Create scripts to connect data from V&V tool chains (e.g Jira Jama Testrail dSpace NI ECUTest Github and etc).
- Dashboard Development: Design and create interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau Power BI or similar platforms. These dashboards should provide clear intuitive visualizations of data that stakeholders can easily understand.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor business performance. Ensure that dashboards are updated in real-time or at appropriate intervals to reflect the latest data.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure that dashboards and reports meet those requirements. This involves regular communication and feedback loops to refine analytics solutions.
- Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide insights into various aspects of business performance. Tailor reports to meet the needs of different departments and management levels.
- Data Governance and Security: Ensure that data handling practices comply with organizational data governance policies and security standards. This includes managing access to sensitive data and maintaining data integrity.
- Technical Support and Training: Provide support and training to end-users to help them understand and effectively use data analytics tools and dashboards. This may involve creating user guides or conducting training sessions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and visualization. Continuously seek ways to improve data processes tools and techniques to enhance the quality and efficiency of data-driven decision-making.
QualificationsYoull Have
- Bachelors Degree in data analytics data science statistics or Engineering
- 3 years of experience in automotive data analytics
- 2 years experience using the following: SQL (Structured Query Language) Programming Languages (R or Python) and Data Visualization Tools: Microsoft Power BI Qlik Grafana Jira Analytics
- 1 year of experience in automotive software testing
Even better if you have
- Masters Degree in data analytics data science statistics or an MBA in business analytics
- Certifications:Google Data Analytics Certificate Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate Tableau certifications or the Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
