Job summary What to expect:

As a part-time QA Technician you will be responsible for measuring and inspecting lenses auditing wet paperwork and performing the final release of products. Your role is essential to ensure that manufactured lenses meet therequired specifications and regulatory standards.

Key duties include auditing the final lot history records to confirm that all procedures have been followed with documented evidence and that traceability of components and personnel is maintained. You will also verify sterilization charts to ensure that all critical sterilization parameters have been achieved before lot release.

Essential Functions & Functionalities:

• Measurement of lenses in line with the Quality Management system
• Recording true and accurate data for the lenses measured. This is completed either using the electronic system (CVM) Microsoft Excel or controlled paperwork forms available from the eQMS (Agile).
• Verification and releasing of Sterilisation charts Ensuring critical parameters have been met.
• Auditing of Lot History Record to ensure traceability of required actions and personnel.
• Authority to Release product on the electronic system (CVM) if all lot testing and auditing meet the set requirements.
• The ability to Raise NCRs when required if lots fail to follow standard procedural or sample plan requirements.
• To support the requirement of both routine and non-routine lens measuring activities in UK Manufacturing if required (Investigations/Complaints/Validation/Shelf Life)
• Store quality records and retention samples correctly to enable timely retrieval if required.
• Support the management storage archive and retrieval of Quality Records.
• Other duties as directed by Line Manager and the QA Management

About you:

We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of contact lenses and experience in QA and/or manufacturing processes.

Experience & Education:

• Two years ofcontact lens or process knowledge in QA and/or manufacturing
• Basic knowledge of use of Word/Excel/Agile/CVM
• Possess a reasonable understanding of QA and the purpose of the role.
• Abilityto work alone as well as part of a team.
• Adaptable and self-starter
• Good communicator
• Quickness of comprehension
