Job Summary

  • Lead ITSM governance initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational standards and service excellence

  • Collaborate across teams to drive consistent service management practices and continuous improvement

  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance on ITSM processes and compliance

  • Security Requirement: Due to the secure nature of this role we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens or individuals with active security clearance (NV1)

About the Role
The ITSM Governance Lead will oversee the implementation and adherence to IT Service Management frameworks across multiple teams. This role requires strong leadership stakeholder engagement and the ability to drive governance strategies that support operational efficiency and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and monitor ITSM governance standards and processes

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent service delivery

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to communicate progress and gather feedback

  • Identify and mitigate risks impacting service management outcomes

  • Use project management tools to track deliverables and enhance team productivity

  • Provide expert guidance and solutions that span multiple teams and domains

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Proven experience in ITSM governance or program/project management

  • Intermediate proficiency in Program/Project Management

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to lead teams and influence decision-making across functions

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Exposure to risk management practices

  • Experience working in secure or government environments

  • Familiarity with service management tools and frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
