Legal Assistant
SSP Law is looking for a full-time Legal Assistant to join our team.

As the first point of contact for visitors and clients the ideal candidate has a professional demeanor positive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills. This ideal candidate has great attention to detail and completes tasks promptly and with accuracy.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally
- Greet clients visitors and vendors with exceptional customer service and positive attitude
- Process and distribute daily mail faxes and UPS packages and packets for legal courier service
- Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies for all locations
- Answer main phone line as directed
- Provide support to assigned attorneys including document organization and review
- File and record documents with the recorders office Secretary of State and other government offices both electronically and via hard copy
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper correspondence and files
- Coordinate and maintain attorneys calendars tasks lists and schedules including scheduling meetings conference calls and conference rooms entering important deadlines and reminders and providing ample notice to the attorneys
- Research public records and laws via Lexis Nexis and Internet searches
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong grammatical knowledge (e.g. structure of formal correspondence)
- Addresses all projects and tasks with a sense of urgency
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and other software from the Microsoft suite of products
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Advanced organization skills and attention to detail
