The Buyer role is responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and services to support Resort Operations Development and select Corporate Departments across CFI/Westgate Resorts. The position focuses on mechanical and electrical systems within facilities maintenance including HVAC-R elevators plumbing lighting roofing laundry and fitness equipment. The buyer ensures reliable supply quality service and cost-effective solutions while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Key stakeholders include the Vice President of Resorts Engineering Directors of Engineering and Maintenance teams at both resort and corporate levels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand the market and supply base of qualified suppliers that can provide specific goods and services.
- Proactively engage stakeholders to understand their business requirements.
- Process requisitions into purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates and support.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery competitive pricing and high quality.
- Maintain and regularly update status reports for all assigned renovation and development projects.
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with customers and management.
Qualifications :
Experience:
- Two or more years of purchasing or supply chain experience preferred.
- Must be flexible and able to successfully manage multiple simultaneous projects and tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Oracle Cloud applications.
Education & Certifications:
- Four-year college degree preferred.
