Job Summary
Your mission
The Start2 Group is searching for a Working Student to support startup accelerator programs in Düsseldorf (especially and Gateway Factory). This position requires an elementary understanding of entrepreneurship a strong ability to learn and passion for a career working with entrepreneurs and innovators.
- Support the planning development and execution of one or more startup accelerator programs in Europe with topics including scaling internationalization and fundraising
- Support the coordination of workshops and speaker sessions that address the core needs of startups
- Work collaboratively within the program team to ensure the smooth execution of the program including pre-participation participation and graduation activities
- Organize workshops and meetings with startups to understand their challenges and take notes of startups meetings with mentors/partners/companies
- Support program teams on event management and coordination as needed
- Support the programs digital presence including content creation and community engagement on social media platforms
- Help in managing databases and tracking program metrics to evaluate success and areas for improvement
Your profile
- Approaches challenge in a proactive innovative manner combined with resilience and a deep passion for supporting startups and fostering global innovation
- A desire to learn how to present to and engage with external stakeholders
- A team player always willing to help out with additional tasks when required
- Willing to learn skills in cross-cultural communication and collaboration
- Passionate about supporting global startups with expansion scaling and fundraising
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Comfortable learning various software tools such as Hubspot Notion Microsoft ChatGPT and others
- Excellent command of written and spoken English. Ideal candidates are comfortable with conversational German in a business context
- Currently enrolled in any university preferably in the area of business administration entrepreneurship or technology
- Previous learning experience in corporates startups corporate innovation program management and/or accelerator programs is a plus
- Able to travel up 10% of time (primarily Germany 5 to 10 times annually)
- Willing to have contract length be minimum of 6 months (ideally longer)
