Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Entitlements & Offerings team within the Consumer Platforms Commerce portfolio. This team is central to Nines consumer revenue strategy responsible for the platforms that define what a customer has access to and what they can purchase across all Nine digital products.
This is a pivotal opportunity to drive the technical strategy for our core offerings capabilities and deliver robust scalable solutions that directly impact our business and millions of customers.
What youll do:
- Foster a culture of high performance collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and coach engineers actively supporting their professional development and career growth.
- Act as an enabler for your team removing roadblocks and ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.
- Lead the team in designing building and maintaining our core subscription and billing services.
- In partnership with Product Managers and designers translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive the technical roadmap for the Entitlements & Offerings team ensuring alignment with the broader Consumer Platform vision.
- Own the technical architecture and delivery for core capabilities: Offer Management Pricing Management Market Configuration Feature Management and Bundle Management.
- Oversee project delivery ensuring projects are on time on budget and of high quality.
- Champion engineering best practices including agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners across the business.
Qualifications :
What youll bring:
- 2 years of experience in a leadership role managing a team of software engineers.
- A strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development ideally with exposure to subscription systems.
- Proven experience in building and running high-availability scalable consumer-facing digital products.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for people management and a desire to build a positive and supportive team culture.
- A strong understanding of agile development methodologies.
