Job Summary Details:

The Autoclave Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of autoclave equipment used to sterilize production materials tools and equipment in compliance with cGMP standards.

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour dependent on experience

Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

No experience required and on the job training provided

No high school diploma GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:
Aseptic GMP and/or sterile processing experience highly preferred

Customer service experience

1 year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

Operate monitor and maintain autoclave systems to sterilize equipment components and materials.
Prepare materials for sterilization ensuring proper packaging labeling and documentation.
Perform routine checks and validation of autoclave cycles to ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of sterilization activities including batch records and equipment logs.
Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions or deviations to maintenance and quality teams.
Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure timely availability of sterile materials.
Adhere to all safety protocols including the use of PPE and handling of biohazardous materials.
Participate in audits inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support training of new operators and contribute to a culture of compliance and safety.
