EKG Security Inc. is a professional security company looking for motivated individuals that take pride in themselves and what they do. We are currently looking to fill open positions in the Leeds Al area with officers who enjoy serving others while providing quality protecting services.

Position Type: Part-time

Tentative Start Date: ASAP

Shift Type: 3rd shift (Sat. and Sun. 7pm-7am)

Pay rate: $16.00 / hr.

Ensure a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol strict access control monitoring and equipment control
Visible and observant at all times greeting staff guests and vendors in a courteous and attentive manner
Respond immediately to distress calls panic alarms and emergency calls for disorderly conduct disruptive persons and incidents swiftly and appropriately
Collaborate with other security officers for effective protection and coverage

Job Description

Qualification Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Be at least 18 years of age
Have a valid Drivers License (required if driving a company vehicle)

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Attention to detail is a plus
1-year security experience preferred but not required
Able to assess and evaluate situations effectively
Must be able to stand/sit for long periods of time as well as ability to ascend and descend stairs with loads up to 50 lbs
Proficiency with computers and aptitude to learn new software and systems
Able to answer phones and/or operate a 2-way radio
Impeccable character/integrity
