The Senior Industrial Electrician is responsible for safely maintaining troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems across multiple aggregate facilities in West Texas including Lubbock Slaton Vealmoor Odessa and parts of Eastern New Mexico. This role supports plant operations and capital projects ensuring consistent uptime and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance upgrades and troubleshooting up to 480V across multiple plant locations
- Maintain and repair motors transformers control circuits lighting DC drives and VFDs
- Support capital projects by collaborating with engineering and contracted vendors
- Research and recommend system improvements for greater plant safety productivity and capacity
- Lead by example in following company and MSHA safety standards policies and procedures
- Provide on-site support and occasional over-the-road travel to regional facilities
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in industrial electrical environments (aggregates mining oil & gas or refinery)
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Certified or licensed electrician preferred
- Proven experience with PLC systems and motor control troubleshooting
- Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Valid drivers license with a clean DMV record (no suspensions or failures to appear)
