Job Summary
The Senior Industrial Electrician provides maintenance and troubleshooting support across all Recycled Concrete and Rail Yard facilities in the greater Houston area. This role ensures all process control automation and electrical systems operate safely and efficiently to sustain high plant productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate electrical repairs installations and system upgrades across multiple Houston-area sites
- Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls drives and high-voltage equipment
- Partner with engineering and outside vendors on capital projects and system enhancements
- Analyze and improve plant operations for efficiency consistency and reliability
- Promote and enforce safety standards in compliance with MSHA and company policies
- Actively engage in Guardian Angel and company safety initiatives
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in aggregates mining or related industries
- Hands-on experience with conveyor belt scales calibration and troubleshooting
- Valid drivers license with strong driving record
- Texas maintenance or journeyman electrician license preferred
- Proficiency with PLCs electrical testing tools and industrial control systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay ($34 - $42/hr depending on experience)
