Job Summary

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse - Medical

RN - MED

Full-Time

Registered Nurse candidates for the Medical Department will have the following job responsibilities:

  • Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care needs.
  • Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
  • Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education credentials and demonstrated competence.
  • Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
  • Participates in the development of and maintains established hospital policies procedures and objectives quality improvement safety environmental and infection prevention program.
  • This position entails: resource duties admissions discharges and wound care. Position makes discharge phone calls to patients.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Nurse - Medical

RN - MED

Full-Time

Registered Nurse candidates for the Medical Department must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

Education

  • Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of one year RN experience in an acute care setting.

Credentials

  • Required: State of Oregon Nursing license
  • Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support.

Compensation: $47.40-74.48/hour
