About the role
Essity is hiring an Organization Improvement Specialist in its factory in Valls (Tarragona) who will join the Global Supply Chain team (GSC).
The role of the Organization Improvement Specialist is to identify lead and execute the Continuous Improvement (CI) Strategy using Lean and CI methods within their assigned business in order to achieve measurable results.
As a member of the Organizational Improvement Department you will be responsible for supporting the site (teams technicians management) in terms of fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This may involve acting as a coach trainer or program implementer.
The main focus of this position is to support Essitys Global Continuous Improvement Programs including Strategy TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Digitalization Kaizen activities and Capabilities Development.
What You Will Do
Continuous Improvement Culture
- Supporting the understanding respect and proper implementation of the vision mission and Compelling Business Needs across the organization at all levels (MasterPlan goals and objectives)
TPM
- Supporting the TPM activities and Equipment Owner Programs.
- Driving the Educational & Training TPM Pillar and supporting the Young Talent Program by acting as a trainer mentor or coach when needed.
- Suport the Educational & Training TPM Pillar regarding the training methodology processes and tools.
- Identifying opportunities to improve or develop new methods processes or tools throughout the factory.
Recognition Program:
- Promoting events and special activities in the factory that encourage communication and the sharing of knowledge and Best Practices.
- Providing proper rewards and recognition to individuals/teams.
Digitalization
- Developing tools and digital reports to track and analyze accurate manufacturing data.
- Managing Learning and Knowledge software and systems to ensure proper setup and support for operators.
- Implement and maintain Essity Connect at department level and create digital solutions to enhance servicing operations.
Who You Are
- 2 years of experience in a similarrole.
- University degree in Engineering or High School University Studies
- IT skills: Knowledge of basic programming and Microsoft tools (Power BI Power Apps Power Automate e.g.)
- High level of English (written and verbal) is a must; additional languages are an advantage
- Proven skills in continuous improvement methods and tools(5s Kaizen TPM SMED others)
- Ability to lead improvement projects andexperience in running multi-function teams effectively
- Ability to train people at all levels.
- Great communication skills (able to give presentations coordinate events andactivities)
