Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Warehouse Foreman to join our fire business unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse workers including assigning tasks training new employees and monitoring performance.
- Oversee the receiving storage and shipping of products to ensure accuracy efficiency and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Coordinate with logistics procurement and other departments to streamline operations.
- Operate warehouse equipment when necessary.
- Monitor the condition of the warehouse and equipment; report and follow up on repairs and maintenance needs.
- Implement and improve operational procedures to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on warehouse performance and inventory status.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts within the warehouse team quickly and effectively.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience (3 years) in a warehouse or logistics environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations inventory management and logistics
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred)
- Excellent organizational leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications (e.g. MS Office)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Associates degree preferred
Salary: 33.65/hr to 36.06/hr
