We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to provide nighttime in-house coverage. This is an hourly paid position offering flexibility stability and the opportunity to focus on hospital-based obstetrical and emergent gynecologic care.
Ideal for OBGYNs seeking a dynamic hospital-based role with predictable compensation and no administration overhead.
Responsibilities
Provide in-house hospital coverage overnight (typically 7:00 pm 7:00 am)
Manage obstetrical triage admissions deliveries (vaginal & C-section) and emergent gynecologic consults
Collaborate with nursing staff anesthesiology neonatology and the day-shift team for seamless patient care
Respond to emergencies quickly and effectively ensuring the highest standard of safety and quality
Maintain accurate documentation and professional communication during hand-offs
Qualifications
MD or DO with completion of OB/GYN residency
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Active Florida medical license (or eligibility)
Hospital privileging capability
Strong surgical and delivery skills; comfortable managing emergent OB/GYN cases
Excellent bedside manner and ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Compensation & Schedule
Competitive hourly rate: $175 $200/hr (based on experience and credentialing)
Compensation is provided for each hour of in-house coverage ensuring transparency and fairness
Flexible scheduling with options for part-time PRN or full-time shift rotations
