Role description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer Engineer to join our dynamic Florida-based team working on cutting-edge technology solutions. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that serve local state and federal Department of Transportation agencies across the country and others. This role involves close collaboration with our Florida-based team. Work arrangements may include remote hybrid or on-site depending on project requirements and business needs.

Role accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain software solutions and systems
• Collaborating with our Florida team on projects supporting FDOT operations and infrastructure
• Build robust applications that help improve efficiency and safety
• Work on billable client projects with direct revenue impact
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment
• Contribute to solutions that make a real difference in public transportation infrastructure

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in computer sciencefrom an accredited university
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• 3 to 5 years of .NET/Angular/SQL Serverprofessional software development experience
• Backend Development: Proficiency and C# minimum 3 years of backend development experience with no less than 50% of that time /C# within the past 5 years
• Front-end Development: Proficiency in Angular and TypeScript minimum 3 years of front-end development experience with no less than 50% of that time using Angular/TypeScript within the past 5 years
• Database Development: Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft SQL Server minimum 3 years of database development experience with no less than 50% of that time using SQL Server within the past 5 years

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) or Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS)
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Prior collaboration with government or public sector clients

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $90.000 - $110.000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
