FuelLube Truck Driver Primoris Heavy Civil Houston, TX

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking an experienced fuel truck/lube driver with an active CDL A and Tanker and Hazmat endorsements for our ongoing highway and bridge projects in Houston TX. Candidates will be required to operate fuel truck fuel and grease heavy equipment and provide fluids as needed for the equipment. Primary work location will be in the North Houston area.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• CDL A required with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements
• Report to and assist immediate supervisor.
• Self-motivated and capable of following directions and effectively work in a team environment.
• Maintain accurate record keeping of all daily tasks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as oil and filter changes fluid top-offs and basic inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel/lube usage maintenance performed and equipment hours.
• Identify and report potential mechanical issues to the Equipment Manager or Shop Foreman.
• Ensure compliance with all safety environmental and company policies and procedures.
• Operate lube/fuel trucks and other service vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
• Keep work area and machines clean and free of excessive oil and grease.
• Perform visual inspections on equipment and provide written report of conditions and deficiencies.
• Service a wide variety of construction equipment including pavers dirt equipment plant equipment and other types of machinery.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to pass physical examination pre-employment if necessary and as required by the company.
• Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders scaffolding stairways etc.
• Able to carry 50 lbs. of tool and/or materials. It is recommended to get assistance to lift items over 50 lbs. Check with your project supervisor or project safety director.
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work extended hours on your feet on uneven surfaces (dirt concrete asphalt mud gravel etc.)
