Were seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and work on a dynamic suite of products that manage client travel data. We are looking for someone who can adapt to recent technologies thrive in a dynamic environment and deliver positive outcomes for the company and our clients. What Youll Do:

• Work in a SCRUM team

• Design develop and test new applications and features

• Optimize APIs for maximum performance reliability and scalability

• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems

• Collaborate and work alongside fellow engineers designers and other partners to develop and maintain applications

• Participate in the evolution and maintenance of existing systems

• Propose new functional and/or technical product improvements

• Experiment with new and emerging technologies

What Were Looking For:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development

• Proven track record in migrating AS400 systems to Java-based applications

• Proficiency in Java development PostgreSQL React JS and AWS Cloud services

• Experience with ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS) and Travel MidOffice platforms

• Strong understanding of full-stack development principles and best practices

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment

• Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) is a plus

• Knowledge of the travel industry

The US national base salary range for this position is from

The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidates relevant experience skills knowledge and work location.

In addition to base salary the anticipated range of which is posted above this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus which rewards participants based on individual and/or company performance.
