ANGEL is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist who is responsible for research of key technologies of digital energy based on AI and digital twin such as Smart Microgrid Energy Storage System Vehicle-to-Grid Virtual Power Plant Multi-Energy Coordinated Scheduling technology Energy Internet technology or others related.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research in one or more areas of digital energy including Smart Microgrid Energy Storage System Vehicle-to-Grid Virtual Power Plant Multi-Energy Coordinated Scheduling and Energy Internet. Focus on core technologies like digital energy system modeling intelligent optimization and collaborative control. Develop innovative AI models/algorithms and research key areas such as energy generation prediction grid and load dynamic analysis and efficient energy storage charging/discharging strategies to enhance energy system stability and utilization efficiency.
Promote the application of digital twin technology in digital energy systems build high-fidelity digital virtual models and realize real-time data interaction and accurate dynamic mapping between physical energy systems and virtual models. Through virtual simulation technology conduct real-time monitoring fault early warning and intelligent decision optimization on the operation status of the system and accelerate the transformation of scientific research results into practical application scenarios.
Independently or in collaboration with the team write high-level academic papers aiming to publish them in top international journals and important academic conferences in the interdisciplinary field of energy and AI and actively take the lead in or participate in relevant patent applications. Assist in guiding doctoral and masters students in carrying out related research topics.
Participate in the whole-process management of scientific research projects reasonably plan the research progress coordinate resources etc. to ensure the efficient advancement of the project according to the schedule.
Actively connect with local research institutions energy enterprises and relevant government departments in Singapore participate in the communication and implementation of industry-university-research cooperation projects promote the accurate connection between scientific research results and industrial needs and support the development of industry-university-research.
Requirements:
PhD in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related disciplines;
Skilled in using Python PyTorch etc. and have the ability to independently complete data processing model construction and algorithm optimization.
Possessing in-depth research experience in at least one of the following digital energy sub-fields with relevant research achievements in the form of papers or patents such as Smart Microgrid Energy Storage System Vehicle-to-Grid Virtual Power Plant Multi-Energy Coordinated Scheduling technology Energy Internet technology or others related.
Have the ability to independently design research plans carry out experimental verification and analyze research data and be able to take on the role of key technical research in the team.
Fluent spoken and written English for research work.
