Job Summary
AUTO ELECTRICIAN RESPONSIBILITES:
To carry out Maintenance Auto Electrical jobs (Preventive Corrective & Trouble Shoot) for all Qapco Complex Vehicles listed below (Mobile cranes Forklifts Diesel Engines Fire Fighting Equipment (firefighting’s Trucks and Ambulances) according to schedule in SAP system.
To receive verbal or written work instructions with clear information and work methods to standards and discusses drawing details. Clarify work requirements with QAPCO REPRESENTATIVE before implementation. Obtains all required work permits from QAPCO REPRESENTATIVE before commencing the assigned work.
To ensure that tools and equipment are in safe and effective working conditions. Keep safety requirements to be maintained in accordance with QAPCO’s regulations and safety standards.
To check work quality and takes corrective action to rectify any detected faults through the work examination methods and standards.
To perform other similar or related duties such as maintaining good housekeeping in work sites and in workshops and ensuring safety regulations are adhered to according to QAPCO policy.
Qualification & Experience:
Years Diploma of Associate engineer in electrical after secondary school certificate.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in industrial vehicle electrical activities.
Should be able to read and comprehend Technical manuals and drawing.
Should be able to use all related tools in his field.
Should be able to communicate (speak and write) in English language.
Should be intelligent creative and hard working.
Should be aware of proper maintenance techniques.
Should be holder of valid QATARI driving license.
Should be holder of valid QATARI forklift driving license.
