Reception Teacher Responsibilities
Plan deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Create a warm inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that supports childrens curiosity and independence.
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners and ensure progress for every child.
Observe record and track childrens development using assessment to inform planning and next steps.
Work collaboratively with colleagues support staff and parents to promote positive outcomes for all pupils.
Contribute to the wider life of the school including events enrichment activities and community engagement.
Reception Teacher Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in Early Years or Reception (EYFS).
Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and assessment practices.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Passionate about early childhood education and committed to nurturing each childs potential.
Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
