- Pay Rate: $40 - $46; (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team on the night shift. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and advanced clinical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and monitor patient conditions in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Administer medications treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assess and document patient progress and response to interventions.
- Monitor vital signs and recognize early signs of patient deterioration escalating care as needed.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Ensure patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Kentucky.
- Minimum of 1-2 years nursing experience.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
