Job Summary

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Administer the hourly employment office functions and processes assist with workforce analysis deployment and people power management based on contractual obligations and corporate policies
  • Manage the day-to-day Employment window functions: leave tracking reinstatements general employee questions and support records management etc.
  • Implement the onboarding orientation sessions for the HBU workforce
  • Support the implementation and execution of our lean manufacturing methodology
  • Drive a positive workplace culture by supporting plant employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist with the administration of the national and local collective bargaining agreements

Requirements:

The following prior experiences will be required for someone to be successful in this role:

  • Employment/Labor Relations/Manufacturing experience
  • Utilize lean manufacturing tools in the context of employee development
  • Analyze and utilize data to make decisions
  • Experience with managing conflict and having difficult conversations
  • Demonstrated ability to be approachable able to communicate with all levels of employees prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong follow up problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work variable shifts including weekend
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field

  • 1 years of experience in Human Resources or related field
  • Able to interact with all levels of management and Union officials to accomplish goals
