We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented QA Engineer who has hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation testing particularly within FinTech and Telecom environments. Youll work closely with backend and frontend development teams to ensure that our products are scalable secure and meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design execute and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and backend applications.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand system architecture data flows and integration points.
Perform API testing backend validation and database verification (SQL queries data consistency checks).
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium Postman RestAssured or Cypress.
Identify document and track bugs using standard issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira Azure DevOps).
Participate in sprint planning code reviews and release management to ensure smooth deployments.
Conduct performance and load testing for backend services to validate scalability and reliability.
Ensure compliance with FinTech data privacy and security standards during all QA processes.
Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
34 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (STLC).
Proven experience in both manual and automation testing.
Hands-on experience with backend/API testing and understanding of microservices or event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with FinTech or Telecom domain workflows including payment gateways billing systems or transaction processing.
Experience using test management tools (Jira TestRail Zephyr) and automation frameworks (Selenium TestNG Cypress Postman).
Good understanding of databases (MySQL PostgreSQL or MongoDB) and ability to write test SQL queries.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions Azure Pipelines) is a plus.
Strong analytical debugging and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have
Experience testing scalable distributed systems or cloud-based applications (AWS/Azure).
Exposure to mobile app testing (Android/iOS).
Familiarity with API mocking tools like Swagger or Postman Mock Server.
Understanding of security testing basics (OAuth JWT encryption etc.).
