Job Overview:
The Certified Technician is responsible for flagging shop hours; from diagnosis to minor and major repair.
We are looking for technicians/mechanics who have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing whats right for our guest.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage updates for shop tools OEM scan tools alignment machine etc.
- Help other technicians diagnose and repair vehicles when necessary (i.e. misdiagnosis employee development etc.)
- Contribute as a technician team member to uphold brand and quality standards of the team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Experienced ASE Certified or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Drivability/diagnostics
- Electrical experience with all makes and models
- Experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Willing to help train/mentor other team members
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicles needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
