A leading independent boarding and day school in Dorset is looking to appoint a creative and passionate Art Teacher to join their thriving Visual Arts Department from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent opportunity ideal for a teacher who values creative freedom and student-centred learning.
The appointed teacher will teach Art & Design across KS3KS5 fostering creativity technical skill and visual communication. Lessons will span traditional and contemporary media including drawing painting printmaking photography and digital art.
The teacher will support GCSE and A-Level coursework guide students in building strong portfolios and encourage participation in art exhibitions competitions and creative collaborations. Opportunities also exist to lead art trips gallery visits and workshops with visiting artists.

QTS/PGCE and degree in Art & Design or Fine Art.
