Job Summary

Job Summary (EMS Engineer): EmS Engineer
- Install configure and maintain EMS/PATS solutions in Data Centers and Disaster Recovery (DR) sites.
- Responsible for overall management monitoring and maintenance using EMS/NMS or other network monitoring systems.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc data reports and trend analysis to IT and other departments (daily weekly monthly or as needed).
- Ensure continuous monitoring and prompt reporting of all assets and services.
- Manage the help desk team and evaluate their performance.
- Add and delete Data Center assets in the EMS tool as required.
- Incorporate third-party MIBs (e.g. packet brokers) into EMS.
- Coordinate with internal teams and handle escalations to ensure swift issue resolution and minimal customer downtime.
- Develop and maintain SOPs and processes for Data Center operations with a focus on FCAPS functionalities.
- Develop maintain and enhance a knowledge base system to support first-time fault resolution.
- Stay updated with industry knowledge and skills relevant to EMS operations.
- OEM payroll requirement for EMS Engineers at each Data Center during project implementation (not compulsory for existing EMS in old DC/DR).
