Location: Bradenton FL 34201

Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Job Type: Permanent

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical / Orthopedic unit on the Day Shift. This position offers a dynamic and supportive environment for RNs with a passion for patient care particularly in post-operative orthopedic and general med-surg cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Orthopedic settings.
Administer medications treatments and procedures as ordered by physicians.
Monitor patient vital signs physical condition and emotional well-being.
Educate patients and families on post-operative care pain management and recovery goals.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Document patient care and progress in accordance with hospital protocols.
Respond to patient needs promptly and professionally.
Adhere to hospital policies procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Active RN License in the state of Florida.
Minimum 1 year of RN experience (Required).
- Experience in acute care LTACH home health or rehab settings will be considered.
Orthopedic nursing experience is required.
BLS certification (required).
Strong clinical assessment and organizational skills.
