Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Charge RN to lead our Trauma Ortho/Neuro Medical-Surgical Unit in Bradenton FL. This permanent full-time position offers rotating 12-hour day and night shifts and requires strong clinical leadership organizational skills and the ability to manage staff in a high-acuity setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the Ortho/Neuro Med Surg unit during assigned shifts.
Act as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff.
Coordinate patient care and ensure compliance with hospital policies and best practices.
Respond to emergencies and escalate issues as needed.
Support interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

Licensure: Current and valid RN license in the state of Florida.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience is required.
- MUST HAVE 1 year of RN CHARGE experience preferability in the hospital setting.
Certifications:
- BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)-required
