Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our night shift this role you will coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered respiratory care. You will be responsible for both therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures including mechanical ventilation management airway care and emergency response interventions. This position plays a key role in supporting the health and recovery of patients across various care units.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and document comprehensive respiratory assessments including breath sounds airway patency and cuff pressure.
Conduct diagnostic tests to determine and assess the need for respiratory therapy.
Administer various respiratory therapies (e.g. oxygen therapy aerosolized medications chest physiotherapy).
Assist in the placement and management of artificial airways.
Initiate monitor and manage patients on invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
Monitor therapeutic response and intervene as needed including notifying the provider of significant changes.
Safely transport ventilator-dependent patients as necessary.
Respond promptly to emergency situations ensuring airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation efforts.

Required Qualifications:

Licensure/Certification:
- NBRC Certification Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Active State of Florida RRT License
- BCLS (Basic Life Support) Required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Required within 6 months
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Required within 6 months
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Required within 6 months
Education:
- Graduate of a two-year AMA-approved Respiratory Care program (Associates Degree or equivalent)
Experience:
- Open to new graduates (must have passed boards or be awaiting official license; no prior respiratory experience required)
