Job Summary:

The Dialysis Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. This role involves scheduled dialysis sessions during the week along with on-call responsibilities during evenings and weekends to address patient needs and emergencies. Flexibility in scheduled hours is required based on patient census.

Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care to dialysis patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients vital signs and overall condition during dialysis.
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies during on-call hours.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois or actively in the application process.
- Minimum of 2 years of dialysis nursing experience.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- None specified.
Special Considerations:

- On-call required every Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Flexibility with scheduled hours depending on patient census.
- Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without pay.
Scheduling:
- Monday Wednesday Thursday and Friday scheduled hours 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Call following scheduled hours from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Saturday and Sunday on-call from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Flexibility with scheduled hours depending on patient census.
- Discuss schedule requests with manager.
