Job Summary
Special Education Teacher Maternity Leave Coverage
Our organization is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Resource Teacher to join our team. This full-time temporary position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students academic and personal growth while working in a positive team-oriented school environment.
In this role you will provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with students IEP goals track progress through data-driven documentation and help create a supportive inclusive learning space that promotes confidence and success. Collaboration is essentialyoull work closely with general education teachers related service staff and families to ensure each student receives consistent and comprehensive support.
The ideal candidate is a flexible and proactive educator who demonstrates strong communication organization and problem-solving skills. Experience with IEP development and implementation along with a genuine commitment to serving diverse learners is highly valued.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills along with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field. A genuine commitment to supporting diverse learners and advancing educational equity is essential. Previous experience in a Middle school special education setting is preferred. Applicants must hold a valid teaching license in Special Education with an LBS1 endorsement.
