We are seeking Several Experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Holbrook NY. Technicians will be tasked with maintenance and repairing various fleet and customer vehicles which includes a diverse mix of heavy trucks such as semis dump trucks box trucks flatbeds trailers and Reefer trucks.

Shift:
Two shifts available:
- Afternoons 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (Monday - Friday).
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance services
- Maintain work area safety
- Conduct diesel repairs service and diagnostics
- Service customers and handle road calls
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions
- Work with minimal supervision
- Inspect trucks for proper working condition
- Perform routine maintenance
- Inspect test and diagnose defective equipment
- Repair major components (engine transmission differentials)
- Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements
Requirements:
- 3 years of diesel/automotive mechanic experience
- Strong diagnostic troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer skills
- Diesel Mechanic/Technical training
- ASE certification is a plus
- Valid drivers license required; CDL preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have your own set of tools
- Must pass pre-employment checks (Criminal Record Drug Screening MVR)
Required Skills:
Perform diesel repairs on commercial trucks Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience Changing oil and filters Brake repairs
Required Education:
