This position is for a Surgical Tech responsible for assisting in elective and emergency surgeries for adult and pediatric patients across various service-specific specialties. The role involves working in 23 operating rooms and 1 procedure room requiring participation in on-call duties.

Location:Rochester New York United States
Responsibilities:
- Assist in a variety of elective and emergency surgical procedures.
- Prepare operating rooms and procedure rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
- Ensure proper handling and labeling of specimens.
- Participate in on-call duties including one call per week and one weekend per month.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Coordinate equipment/supply needs.
- Assist in a variety of elective and emergency surgical procedures.

- Surgical Tech certification.
- BLS certification.

Special Considerations:
- On-call duties required: one call per week and one weekend per month.
- Work environment includes 23 operating rooms and 1 procedure room.
- Must be more than 75 miles away.
