Supervise the installation fabrication jointing and testing of GRP piping systems in accordance with project drawings specifications and manufacturer guidelines. Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures quality standards and work schedules. Plan daily work schedules and coordinate with engineers subcontractors and other disciplines. Oversee lamination works joint preparation curing and hydrostatic/pneumatic testing of GRP pipelines. Interpret isometric drawings spool drawings and P&IDs to ensure correct routing and support of piping. Verify materials tools and equipment prior to installation (pipe spools fittings adhesive kits etc.). Supervise and guide skilled technicians and fitters on GRP jointing techniques (e.g. butt & wrap mechanical joints adhesive bonding). Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection requests (IRs) joint inspections and testing documentation. Troubleshoot issues such as misalignment surface preparation problems or material non-conformance. Maintain accurate records of daily progress manpower and materials used. Ensure all GRP work is carried out in line with manufacturer recommendations and international standards (e.g. ISO ASTM). Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering or Piping Technology. Minimum 5 years of experience in GRP piping supervision preferably in industrial projects (e.g. desalination water treatment petrochemical).
