Job Description:

NIH funded postdoctoral position developing and testing smart exosome drug delivery systems for PDAC targeting therapies in vitro and in vivo.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in cancer biology or related field required
Practical familiarity with standard tissue culture orthotopic mouse models of pancreatic cancer studies molecular techniques and instrumentation utilized in a cancer biology research laboratory required.
Ability to write manuscripts for publication required.
Proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals required.
Experience mentoring junior scientists undergraduate and graduate students required.
Ability to lead a primary project while simultaneously contributing to multiple ongoing research projects required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required.
Skill collaborating with a multidisciplinary research team required.
Ability to conduct experiments with initiative and independence under general guidance from the principal investigator required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in animal models and PK/PD studies preferred.
Experience in identification and characterization of nanoparticles preferred.
Hands-on experience with gene manipulation techniques such as molecular cloning stable transfection and western blotting preferred.
