Physical Therapist PT Requirements:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state PT license and/or NPTE (or state exam) passed
  • Minimum 1 year of PT experience
  • Follows HIPAA guidelines and maintains client confidentiality

Physical Therapist PT Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate mobility strength range of motion and pain to develop treatment plans
  • Teach clients and caregivers proper use of assistive devices
  • Report progress or condition changes to the Director of Nursing and physician
  • Document care progress notes and assist with discharge planning
  • Provide compassionate respectful care to clients and families
