Job Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for the overall administration and operations regarding cocktail bars and overall beverages and will report to the Head Mixologist. He/she will maximize profits further refine beverage and service quality standards maintain high staff performance and ensure great customer satisfaction by living the Shangri-la Standards.
As a Bartender we rely on you to:
- Have a strong understanding of the menu and the way each dish is prepared.
- Suggest to guests on Menu selection.
- Inspects and cleans up bar and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety standards and procedures.
- Take orders and serve with great love and affection.
- Obsess over delighting guests and create wow moments.
- Get the restaurant ready before service.
- Seamlessly coordinate with the culinary team to ensure timely service to the guest.
- Dispenses beverages per guest order observing set standards in terms of time mixture and appearance if barman unavailable.
- Follow the Shangri-la Food Safety Processes and Procedures.
- Assist fellow colleagues in the success of the F&B outlet.
- Assist the supervisor in ensuring smooth meal operations.

- Great conversational skills for engaging with guests.
- Strong English skills
- Positive Attitude and willingness to learn.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a waiter in 5 Star Hotels.
